Equipment Inspector
Responsible for inspecting and ensuring the integrity of static equipment and piping onboard, executing or witnessing non-destructive inspections, tests and non-destructive testing.
Ensure the proper traceability of all static equipment inspections, by recording the results in the inspection management system and issuing the required inspection registers, as well as generating, validating and monitoring inspection recommendations in the CMMS.
Participate in the subsequent analyses of static equipment integrity, by performing or following up the collection of samples and materials for analysis purposes.
Ensure that all inspection equipment and instruments are properly calibrated, by keeping up all required controls, records and checklists.
Equipment Inspector certification, in accordance with NR-13, is required.
Qualification in Thickness Measurement (SNQC) is required.
Qualification in Dye Pen (SNQC) is required.
Qualification in Magnetic Particle (SNQC) is expected.
Weld Inspector Qualification (FBTS) is expected.
Technician I/II/III: Minimum 2/4/7 years' overall experience is expected;
Previous experience in Offshore Oil & Gas area is a competitive edge.
Previous experience as Equipment, UTM and Magnetic Particle Inspector is required.
Previous exposure to emission inspection technique, as well as in the API 510, API 570 and API RP 574 standards and codes, and others non-destructive techniques is a competitive edge.
